My approach
A supportive approach to learning
Everyone learns differently, and I believe driving lessons should reflect that. I take time to understand how you learn best, adapting my coaching to suit your pace, confidence and experience.
My lessons are relaxed, positive and encouraging. We'll celebrate what you're doing well, work together on areas for improvement and develop the skills you need to drive safely and independently.
Passing your driving test is an important milestone, but becoming a confident, responsible driver for life is the real goal.

Whether you're a complete beginner, returning to driving after a break or looking for a fresh approach after previous lessons, I'll tailor our sessions to your experience and confidence.
Lessons are 90 minutes long, in a modern manual Peugeot 208, giving us enough time to practise, reflect and make meaningful progress without feeling overwhelmed.
My focus is on helping you become a confident, safe and independent driver — not simply preparing you to pass a test.

Hi, I'm Steve!
I'm a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor based in Liversedge, offering friendly, relaxed and supportive driving lessons across the surrounding areas.
Before becoming a driving instructor, I spent many years leading, coaching and developing people. That experience has shaped how I teach today. I understand that everyone learns differently, and I enjoy helping people build confidence, overcome challenges and achieve things they might not have thought possible.
I want you to feel comfortable, enjoy your lessons and look forward to getting behind the wheel. We'll work at a pace that suits you, with plenty of encouragement and a few laughs along the way.
For me, there's nothing better than seeing someone grow in confidence and become a safe, independent driver.
